In Robert Altman's film, a Dallas OB/Gyn doctor's life is collapsing from his personal and business successes. MWD was called upon to augment the skies in a storm sequence. At the storm's climax, a full-blown tornado desends from the clouds.

In this shot, MWD blended morphing 2D sky elements with a 3D particle-system tornado. The tornado debris, rain, hail, and roadside light poles were all created in 3D.
