Matte World Digital helped pioneer the development of the digital
backlot. This allowed the production to photograph a partially
constructed location set with complete freedom of camera movement.
After original photography was finished, MWD was able to complete
the partially constructed set with 3D matte painting techniques
and motion tracking. |
